About the Role

Join a growing business committed to family, employee growth, environmental protection, and community involvement. This position involves handling all duties related to merchandise receipt and shipment for General Merchandise, Parts, and Accessories.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all duties relative to merchandise (General Merchandise, Parts, and Accessories).
  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and control inventory-related records.
  • Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts as directed by supervisor.
  • Assist with organization and cleanliness of the inventory area.
  • Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Fulfill orders placed with the company by reading order slips, gathering appropriate items, and delivering them to designated routes.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • One year in a vehicle parts department preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations tactfully.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems (Payroll: Reynolds & Reynolds / Ignite; HR Compliance: KPA / VeraSuite).

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
