Skills & Qualifications

  • Current, Valid, Driver’s license; satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • DOT Medical Card or Ability to obtain one
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Problem solving

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • One year in a vehicle parts department preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors
  • Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors, coordinating with the Parts Manager, Inventory Control Clerk, Parts Counter people, or Shipping and Receiving Clerk
  • Complete a log at the time of delivery and request recipient’s signature
  • Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts
  • Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
  • Maintain the parts delivery vehicle; ensure it is clean and operating properly
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel
  • Frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with hands and arms, take and hear
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
