Automotive Parts Counterperson - Wholesale

About the role

Full time opening for a busy automotive parts counterperson in a wholesale dealer environment. Ford/Hyundai retail and wholesale experience preferred. Body shop, Ford, or Hyundai experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Determine and recommend needed parts based on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each part/order throughout the day, and updating customers as needed
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the parts sold

Qualifications

• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
• Past experience as a parts counter person/consultant is a must
• Above average energy level
• A desire for a long term career with a growing organization
• Personal and professional integrity

Skills

• ADP/CDK computer experience a plus
• Experience with CCC, Repairlink, Collision Link and OPSTRAX a plus

Pay

Salary plus commission - $60,000+
