Don Johnson's Hayward Motors CDJR is looking for an Automotive Parts Advisor to help our technicians, guests, and local repair professionals get the right parts at the right time. You'll join an experienced team, receive paid training, and work a schedule that protects your evenings and weekends.

What You'll Do

You will help keep our service department productive while providing knowledgeable, responsive service to every guest.

  • Identify and locate the correct parts for technicians and guests
  • Use electronic parts catalogs to research vehicle applications
  • Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product information
  • Pull, stage, bill, and distribute parts for repair orders
  • Order and track special-order and backordered parts
  • Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory
  • Process cores, returns, credits, and warranty parts
  • Communicate clearly with technicians, service advisors, vendors, and guests
  • Help maintain accurate inventory and an organized parts department

Requirements

Automotive parts or dealership experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong mechanical knowledge or related experience. You may be a great fit if you have worked in:

  • Automotive parts, service, or repair
  • Powersports, marine, or recreational vehicles
  • Agricultural or heavy equipment
  • Hardware, tools, or technical retail
  • Warehousing, inventory, or counter sales

Qualifications

The strongest candidates will bring:

  • Working knowledge of vehicles and automotive components
  • Strong computer and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A sense of urgency and dependable follow-through
  • Clear, professional communication
  • A positive, team-first attitude
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • The ability to safely lift and move automotive parts

Experience with Mopar products or dealership parts systems is helpful, but not required.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay: $20+ per hour, based on experience
