Automotive Office Manager

About the role
The Office Manager is responsible for coordinating daily office operations, maintaining accurate records, supporting accounting and administrative functions, assisting management, and ensuring office procedures are followed consistently. This position requires someone who can take ownership, solve problems, maintain confidentiality, and keep multiple priorities organized while providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Keep the office organized and running efficiently.
- Ensure important paperwork and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with all departments.
- Identify problems before they become larger issues.
- Follow through on assignments without constant supervision.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
- Provide dependable support to dealership management.
- Help create consistent processes and accountability throughout the office.
Requirements
- Previous Office Management, Administrative, Accounting, or Dealership Experience Preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and management.
- A willingness to learn dealership-specific systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Dealership Experience Is a Plus – Experience in an automotive dealership, particularly in accounting, administration, office management, or dealership operations, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dealership paperwork, automotive accounting processes, DMS systems, title work, funding, payroll, or compliance is a plus.
