About the role

Capital Ford of Charlotte is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Automotive Mobile Technician to provide professional on-site automotive service and repairs to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations and provide professional on-site automotive service and repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance or repair needs
  • Diagnose mechanical concerns and perform quality repairs and component replacements
  • Work with a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Clearly explain recommended services and repairs to customers
  • Provide professional, friendly customer service from start to finish
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and equipment
  • Follow all safety, manufacturer, and industry standards
  • Keep your service vehicle, tools, and work area clean and organized
  • Take ownership of your work and deliver quality results every time
  • Jump in and support the team wherever needed

Requirements

  • Automotive Technician experience; mobile service experience is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic/troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your time in the field
  • Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • ASE certifications or other relevant technical certifications are a plus
