About the role
The Department of Environmental Services (DES), Auto Equipment Bureau, provides maintenance and repair services to all Arlington County and Schools fleet vehicles, including heavy fire apparatus, buses, dump trucks, utility trucks, passenger vehicles, snow-related equipment, and other heavy and light equipment.
Selected candidates will perform skilled mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair and maintenance on a variety of vehicle types and report to the Trades Manager/Leader I.
