Automotive Instructional Aide I-Part Time

About the Role

This position provides training, assistance, and technical support to instructors in an Automotive instructional lab. Current or former CCBC students who meet the requirements are preferred.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Able to pass and maintain SP2 certifications
• Able to pass and maintain ASE certifications
• 1-year automotive service experience

Responsibilities

• Operate and store/allocate equipment, tools, and/or instructional materials used in the classroom and lab for instructional purposes
• Cover evening and weekend class hours, as assigned, reporting any operational issues to program leadership promptly
• Maintain a neat, safe, and well-organized shop environment
• Maintain a clean shop
• Enforce safety standards among all class participants
• Support instruction as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
