About the Role
This position provides training, assistance, and technical support to instructors in an Automotive instructional lab. Current or former CCBC students who meet the requirements are preferred.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Able to pass and maintain SP2 certifications
- Able to pass and maintain ASE certifications
- 1-year automotive service experience
Responsibilities
- Operate and store/allocate equipment, tools, and/or instructional materials used in the classroom and lab for instructional purposes
- Cover evening and weekend class hours, as assigned, reporting any operational issues to program leadership promptly
- Maintain a neat, safe, and well-organized shop environment
- Maintain a clean shop
- Enforce safety standards among all class participants
- Support instruction as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
