About the role
Greulich’s (part of the Sun Auto Network) has been helping Maricopa County with car care since 1977. Today, we’re a multi-location business offering preventive maintenance, vehicle diagnostics, and automotive repairs. The role involves conducting non-technical automotive service repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel related services, light vehicle maintenance, driving customers, picking up parts, and maintaining shop cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and tire rotation.
- Performs oil changes and other basic services.
- Utilizes the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to properly document vehicle condition.
- Maintains cleanliness of the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and outside the building.
- Drives vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws, including transporting customers and picking up parts/supplies.
- Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (in applicable locations) following company and state guidelines.
- Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to a direct supervisor.
- Works flexible schedules, including weekends as needed.

Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- General understanding of under-the-hood, mechanical, and undercarriage assemblies is preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Exposure to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous/non-hazardous materials.
- Work environment temperature varies and may include extreme heat and/or cold.
- Must stand up to eight hours per day and walk to access various areas of the building.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; full range of motion with arms and hands required.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds frequently.
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus.

Pay
$15.15/hr and up, depending on experience.
