Automotive General Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Maintenance
  • Perform oil changes, fluid services, and preventative maintenance
  • Rotate, balance, repair, and install tires
  • Replace air filters, cabin filters, batteries, and wiper blades
  • Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
  • Maintain accurate service documentation
• Vehicle Inspections
  • Complete multi-point inspections
  • Identify maintenance and repair opportunities
  • Communicate findings to service advisors and supervisors
  • Help ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready
• Teamwork & Customer Experience
  • Support experienced technicians with repair services
  • Deliver quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Help create an exceptional customer experience
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance
• Safety & Shop Operations
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Properly use and care for tools and equipment
  • Assist with maintaining shop efficiency and productivity

Requirements

• Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Strong work ethic and dependability
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous automotive, tire, lube, or mechanical experience
  • Automotive technical school training
  • ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience using hand tools and shop equipment
  • Customer service experience
