Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Accurately diagnose and repair automotive electrical and electronic systems
- Utilize vehicle communication interfaces, wiring diagrams, workshop manuals, and diagnostic resources
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicle electronic and network systems, including module programming
- Service body electrical systems, HVAC systems, EV systems, and ADAS technologies
- Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and efficiency in all repairs
- Document diagnostic and repair work clearly and thoroughly
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive technician experience with a focus on electrical systems
- Ford dealership experience and Ford certifications preferred
- ASE or other OEM certifications considered
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Solid computer skills; experience with Dealertrack and Xtime is a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development to stay current with evolving vehicle technology
