What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing maintenance and repair of all types of motor vehicles and special equipment in the Verizon fleet.
- Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing all company associated equipment, including aerial lifts, diggers, generators, tools, etc.
- Using computer test equipment to diagnose vehicle problems.
- Interfacing with vehicle users regarding repairs, questions, etc.
- Performing OSHA, ANSI, emissions, and state inspections on company vehicles.
- Utilizing Fleet maintenance tracking computer systems to determine work assignments, record keeping, time reporting, parts inventory, etc.
- Obtaining and maintaining all required certificates or licenses.
- Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts based on the needs of the business.
- Working tour hours are 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday (hours may vary).
- Overtime is as needed by the Company.

- You’ll Need To Have 5 or more years’ experience as a mechanic or other relevant experience.
- CDL License or Commercial Learner's Permit (CDL required within 6 months of hire).
- Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Tests – Results obtained in standard tests for this position must meet minimum requirements established by the Company, in accordance with Company policy.
- Must meet safety-related requirements including but not limited to those standards of safety imposed by OSHA, state agencies, manufacturers and/or the company.
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation, including, but not limited to, lifting, carrying and maneuvering heavy equipment up to 75 lbs.
- Recent experience performing maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles.
- Current ASE Certifications.

- For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
- The weekly wage range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $749.50 - $1,855.50.
