Automotive Detailer - New Orleans Airport - Seasonal - Full Time

We offer extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and other transportation services to make travel easier and more convenient for customers.

About the role

We are seeking responsible, dedicated individuals to join our team as seasonal Automotive Detailers. This full-time seasonal position is located at the New Orleans Airport (400 Rental Blvd., Kenner, LA 70062) and cannot exceed 180 days of service from the start date.

$16 per hour

Schedule

2pm – 11pm, weekends required

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights, damage, or issues
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and sweeping the lot
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accident on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship
• Must be available for seasonal work (40 hours per week) lasting a maximum of 180 days
• Must understand you will be ineligible for any positions at Enterprise for 3 months following the end of seasonal employment
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this location
