Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Westheimer

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 2150 Highway 6 S., Ste 120, Houston, TX 77077. This full-time position upholds the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring the health and safety of everyone by exceeding standard protocols for vehicle preparation.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for the following:
  • Fuel level and warning lights.
  • Windshield damage.
  • Customer items (place valuables in Lost & Found).
  • Registration presence, currency, and match to license plate.
  • Fluid levels (add as needed).
  • Tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
  • Exterior damage.
  • Safety concerns or warning lights.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including:
  • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and trash.
  • Cleaning bathrooms.
  • Vacuuming and sweeping the lot.
  • Performing other miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record:
  • No more than 2 at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years (1 must fall off within 12 months of employment).
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must have at least twelve (12) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
• Must be willing to accept $15.00/hour.
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 15 miles to the location listed above.

Schedule

• Sunday: Off
• Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (rotating weekends with time off during the week)

Pay

$15.00 per hour.
