Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - TLH Airport

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at the Tallahassee Airport location (3300 Capital Cir SW, Tallahassee, FL 32310). This full-time position starts at $16/hour based on a 40-hour workweek. We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring the health and safety of everyone.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage and fuel/stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights, damage, or issues
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors
• Perform miscellaneous tasks such as desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, and sweeping the lot
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• Candidates with more than 1 excessive speeding violation (26+ mph over the posted limit) in the past 3 years will be disqualified
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must live within a 30-minute commute of the Tallahassee location
• Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience
• Must be at least 18 years old

Schedule

• Wednesday–Sunday: 2pm–11pm
• Thursday–Monday: 2pm–11pm
