Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Morganton/Granite Falls

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 3938 Hickory Blvd, Granite Falls, NC 28630. This full-time position focuses on upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring vehicles meet our exceptional safety and hygiene protocols for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, trucks, and vans
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and readiness:
  • Check fuel level and warning lights
  • Inspect windshields for damage
  • Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
  • Check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
  • Verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
  • Check fluid levels and add as needed
  • Inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
  • Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
  • Report any warning lights, damage, or safety concerns
• Fuel and stage vehicles
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches
• Maintain overall site appearance, including:
  • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and trash areas
  • Vacuuming and sweeping the lot
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Performing other miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future

• Sunday: Off
• Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: Off

Pay

Starting rate of $15 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.
