Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Moline

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 4410 53rd St, Moline, IL 61265. This full-time position is crucial to upholding our high cleanliness standards, ensuring vehicles meet exceptional safety and hygiene protocols for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Inspect vehicles for fuel level, warning lights, windshield damage, and customer items; place valuables in Lost & Found.
• Verify registration matches the license plate and is current.
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles; report any safety concerns or damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors (e.g., desktops, countertops, floors, bathrooms, trash, and sweeping the lot).
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay

$16 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek. Potential $0.50 per hour increase after 6 months of service and successful performance.

• Tuesday: Off
• Wednesday: Off
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
