Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Milford

About the role

We are seeking responsible, dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time and part-time Automotive Detailers. This position is located at 176 East Main Street, Milford, MA 01757.

Pay

$16 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance.

Schedule

Full-time: 40 hours per week

• Monday – Friday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• May include weekend hours: Saturday or Sunday, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm

Part-time: 25 hours per week

• Option 1: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 1:00 pm
• Option 2: Monday – Friday, 12:30 pm – 6:00 pm
• May include weekend hours: Saturday or Sunday, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage; fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights, damage, or issues.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations (e.g., desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot).
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
