About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 3552 S Dixie Hwy, Middletown, OH 45005. This is a full-time position with immediate openings, focused on upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles to meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
  • Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
  • Inspect vehicles for fuel level, warning lights, windshield damage, and customer items; place valuables in Lost & Found
  • Verify registration matches the license plate and is current
  • Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
  • Inspect vehicle exterior for damage and report any safety concerns or warning lights
  • Fuel and stage vehicle; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
  • Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
  • Assist customers when needed, including transporting them to and from branches
  • Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations (e.g., desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot)
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
  • Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship

Pay

Starting rate of pay is $15/hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

Schedule

  • Sunday: OFF
  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flex day when working Saturday)
  • Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (alternating)
