About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Full-Time Automotive Detailer to join our team at 33 Quarry Lane, Lexington, VA 24450. This role is crucial in upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring the health and safety of everyone by exceeding standard protocols for vehicle preparation.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and readiness, including:
  • Checking fuel level and warning lights.
  • Inspecting windshields for damage.
  • Factory resetting/restoring vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
  • Checking for customer items and placing valuables in Lost & Found.
  • Verifying registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check and replenish fluid levels as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage; report any safety concerns, warning lights, or damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles for customer rentals.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including:
  • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and performing other miscellaneous cleaning tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years (total points on driving record cannot exceed 8).
• No drug or alcohol-related violations on driving record in the past 3 years (e.g., DUI, DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

• Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: Off

Pay

Starting rate of $16 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.
