Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Janesville

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full Time Automotive Detailer. The position is located at 1321 Creston Park Drive, Janesville WI 53545 and pays $17 per hour. The available schedule is Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:30 pm with a rotating Saturday shift of 9:00 am‑12:00 pm. The company offers extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, travel management and other transportation services, and is privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis, managing a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles across more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior – including cars, vans and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and other miscellaneous tasks)
• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
