Automotive Detailer - Car Washer- Clermont

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 1700 S Grand Hwy, Clermont, FL 34711. This full-time position upholds the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring the health and safety of everyone by washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations (e.g., desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot)
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past five years
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English
• Must be willing to stand and walk (3-5 miles) for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience

Pay

$16/hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

• Sunday: 10:00am–4:00pm
• Monday: OFF
• Tuesday: 8:00am–6:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am–6:00pm
• Thursday: 8:30am–6:00pm
• Friday: OFF
• Saturday: 8:00am–2:00pm
