Automotive Detailer

About the role

Founded in 1978, the Vande Hey Brantmeier Automotive Group sells and services new and used Chevrolet, Buick, Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, and Jeep vehicles, and offers state-of-the-art service centers to better serve Wisconsin drivers. What we pride ourselves most in, though, is our commitment to our customers. We are searching for a Car Detailer to add to our team.

Responsibilities

• Wash the interior and exterior of cars to meet dealership standards and/or customer expectations
• Perform tasks ranging from simple/quick clean and vacuum to more intensive cleaning jobs
• Hand wash vehicles
• Steam and deodorize interiors
• Apply protective agents, polishes, and waxes to cars
• Assist with cleaning the shop as needed on occasion

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening
• Ability to pay attention to detail, capable of following instructions
• Positive attitude and ability to provide excellent service
• Able to stand on feet and bend over/up and down during entire shift
• Ability to understand safety requirements and wear proper safety equipment as needed
• Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment
• Physically capable of performing manual labor while standing for the majority of shifts
• Ability to do quality work with minimal supervision

Previous experience with detailing cars is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person without it.
