Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare new, used and serviced vehicles for customers
- Wash, buff and wax the exterior of vehicles
- Use vacuums and other cleaning agents to clean upholstery, rugs and other surfaces inside vehicles
- Clean engine and engine compartments to remove grease and grime
- Fuel cars, clean the shop and move vehicle inventory as needed when not detailing
- Ensure every vehicle is handed to the customer in excellent condition so that every customer leaves satisfied
- Assist painters in the collision center
- Perform buffing work
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a clean, valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Good judgment and the ability to use hand and power tools and other machinery safely
- High productivity while maintaining high quality work
- Detail oriented
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- 5+ years of previous experience required
- Buffing and painting experience recommended
