Automotive Collision Repair Instructor Pool-Part-Time

About the role

Attend meetings concerning the department. Knowledge of frame measuring systems and/or demonstrate color matching skills. Possess current and valid ASE certifications for auto collision repair as required for our department certification. Classes taught may include Automotive Collision Repair, Automotive Refinishing, Automotive Color Matching, Structural Alignment. The duties and responsibilities are representative and not restrictive; the District may modify assignments per operational needs. This is a continuous recruitment for part-time, temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis, active for one year from the opening date (or sooner if no longer needed).

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings concerning the department.
• Demonstrate knowledge of frame measuring systems and/or color matching skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment; OR
• Any associate degree AND six years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment; OR
• Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area; OR
• Equivalent qualifications as determined by the District Equivalency Committee (related education,
