Responsibilities
- Greet incoming service customers
- Treat every visitor to the dealership as our guest, regardless of dress, style or race
- Ensure that each customer's experience meets Van Bortel Standards
- Monitor service waiting area
- Schedule appointments for service customers
- Work closely with service advisors and porters to assist customers dropping off and picking up vehicles
- Open and close rental agreements, tracking use of rental fleet
- Process cash and credit transactions for service customers
- Prepare service invoices for review by warranty department
- Filer service invoices and daily paperwork
- Work cooperatively with other departments and internal teams
- Maintain a tasteful, well-groomed and professional appearance in keeping with Van Bortel Standards
- Maintain cleanliness and presentability of customer areas
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Possess excellent listening and communication skills
- Possess an outgoing and positive personality
- Possess computer literacy skills
- Possess strong math skills with the ability to handle financial transactions
- Possess a professional appearance in keeping with Van Bortel Standards
- Possess a punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
- Possess previous retail cashier and customer service experience, preferred
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record with dependable transportation to work
