Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with accounts payable/receivable
- Reconciliations
- Financial records and reporting
- Deal processing
- Cooking accounting matters with other departments
- Budget preparation/analysis
Compliance & Support
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with budget preparation
- Support annual audits as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an accounting role
- Previous automotive dealership accounting experience (e.g., using ADP, CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds DMS) preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Competent in general ledger software
- Comfortable learning new dealership management systems
