About the role
UST is searching for an Automation Tester who will design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation scripts using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium and REST API frameworks
- Contribute to all the testing phase activities as per the release plan
- Participate actively in in-sprint Agile testing activities
- Learn and apply AI-based testing tools for smarter execution and defect analysis
- Execute functional, regression, and E2E tests
- Learn and apply execution techniques leveraging shared frameworks, cloud platforms
- Learn/build understanding of Telecom domain workflows
- Follow QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices
Requirements
- Level Digital T-Life Automation: Selenium / Playwright, REST API (Intermediate Hands-on: 1-3 years)
- Understanding of digital flows (login, browsing, ordering)
- Programming Language: Java / C# / Python / Typescript (Intermediate Hands-on: 1-3 years)
- Exposure to Mobile, Web testing (1-2 years)
- SQL knowledge (Beginner: 1-2 years)
- Test Grid / Tosca automation (Beginner: 1-2 years)
- Gitlab, CI/CD tools (Beginner: 1-2 years)
- Mobile automation: Appium (Beginner: 1-2 years)
- Manual Testing (Expert: 2-4 years)
- Test Management tools: JIRA, Qtest (Expert: 2-4 years)
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Pay
Role Location: Hybrid-Texas
Compensation Range: $51,000-$77,000

- Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
