Automation Tester
Role Description
UST is seeking an Automation Tester II to join our team. This role designs, develops, and executes manual and automated test cases, contributing to all testing phases as per the release plan and participating in agile testing activities.
Opportunity
- Develop automation scripts using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium, and REST API frameworks
- Contribute to functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Leverage AI-based testing tools for smarter execution and defect analysis
- Follow Quality Engineering (QE) standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices
What You Need
- Intermediate hands-on experience with Automation: Selenium/Playwright, REST API
- Intermediate hands-on experience with Hands-on: 1-3 years
- Understanding of digital flows (login, browsing, ordering)
- Programming Language: Java/C#/Python/Typescript
- Intermediate hands-on: 1-3 years
- Exposure to Mobile/Web testing (1-2 years)
- SQL knowledge (Beginner: 1-2 years)
- Test Grid/Tosca automation (Beginner: 1-2 years)
- GitLab, CI/CD tools (Beginner: 1-2 years)
- Mobile automation: Appium (Beginner: 1-2 years)
- Manual Testing Expert: 2-4 years
- Test Management tools: JIRA, Qtest (Expert: 2-4 years)
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation can differ based on location, role, skill set, education, and experience.
