Automation Tester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with 10+ years of hands-on experience to design and execute automated test strategies. This role requires strong collaboration with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery in a fast-paced environment. Banking and capital markets domain knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data mapping documents and business requirements to design comprehensive test plans and cases
• Design, develop, maintain, and analyze automated test scripts
• Create project deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports, and automation dashboards
• Use Selenium Web and API testing or Selenium/Cucumber for test execution
• Execute automation scripts, prepare execution reports, and maintain defect logs
• Identify, log, and track data defects using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Octane
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders through excellent communication skills

Technical skills

• Primary: Selenium
• Secondary: Java

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing
• Proficiency in Selenium and Java
• Experience with API testing and/or Cucumber frameworks
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, or Octane)
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting data mapping and business requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

$100,000–$120,000 a year
