Automation Test Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript and Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test solutions for modern web applications. The role involves close collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable test automation aligned with CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end UI automation scripts using Playwright with JavaScript
• Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks with reusability and maintainability in mind
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure test automation aligns with CI/CD practices
• Ensure test automation solutions are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address test automation challenges

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of strong hands-on Playwright experience
• 3-6 years of overall test automation experience
• Experience with JavaScript and Playwright
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality test automation solutions
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
