AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN - NIGHT SHIFT

About the role
The Automation Technician is responsible for the equipment and systems of the plant operations in Armor IIMAK plants in the America's Zone. You will work with variable frequency drives, PLC, and systems associated with automation equipment. You will repair and install systems and components on industrial machinery and equipment following codes, manuals, diagrams, and other specifications using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Complete mechanical equipment repairs/troubleshooting, including bearings, general machine parts, pneumatic systems, and piping systems.
- Document and complete maintenance work orders in a work order management system listing labor hours, parts used, and detailed records of completed tasks.
- Continuous improvement of PM Programs to maximize equipment uptime and increase productivity.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Degree in an applicable field preferred.
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics; CAD experience a plus.
- Flexibility to work an altered schedule as needed to accommodate business needs.
- Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to other sites as needed for support or training.

Schedule
11pm - 7:30am, Monday - Friday
