Automation Technician I

About the role

The Automation Technician will provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety within Plexus. Through continuous learning and innovation, they strive to optimize operations and contribute to Plexus' success.

Responsibilities

• Executes manufacturing solutions/provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus manufacturing processes / product requirements & specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' manufacturing processes. Provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Basic understanding of equipment, process control, safety, risk awareness, setup awareness, and operation as it applies to their role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Pay

The annual compensation range for this position is $42,300.00 - $63,500.00. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Schedule

This position is hourly, working the day shift (Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm).
