About the role
The Automation Technician will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining automation systems in various locations across Texas and New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions for industrial processes
- Install and commission automation equipment and systems
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure system integration
- Document work procedures and system configurations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automation engineering or related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
- Experience with automation software and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Knowledge of industrial automation principles and practices
- Experience with automation systems such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations relevant to automation

Pay
$50,000 - $60,000 annually
