Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 production support for enterprise automation and analytics platforms, including UiPath and Alteryx.
- Administer, monitor, and maintain cloud and on-prem environments to ensure system availability, security, and performance.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex platform and automation issues, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating with IT and vendor teams as needed.
- Support the end-to-end automation lifecycle, including deployments, upgrades, and production support across development, test, pre-production, and production environments.
- Maintain system configurations, user access, licensing, and upgrades in alignment with security and enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and identity teams to support stable and scalable environments.
- Create and maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and environment details.
- Assist with capacity planning, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery support.
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve operational and maintenance processes.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of systems administration concepts, principles, and practices in enterprise production environments.
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, access controls, and domain-based configurations.
- Knowledge of application and web technologies supporting automation, analytics, and distributed systems.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk) to support system availability, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
- Understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies, including virtual machine operations in on-prem and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of network and security fundamentals, including firewalls, authentication, and secure connectivity.
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts and technologies for critical systems.
- Knowledge of UiPath or similar RPA platforms (e.g., Blue Prism), including Orchestrator, Studio, Robots, and cloud delivery models.
- Knowledge of data analytics and operational reporting concepts, including incident trend analysis and platform performance reporting.
- Familiarity with workflow-based analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx) is desirable.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, analyze logs and data from multiple sources, determine root cause, and recommend effective solutions.
- Experience supporting enterprise automation platforms, including UiPath or similar RPA technologies, with exposure to Automation Cloud, Automation Suite, or standalone deployments preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows Server operational support, including access management, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Ability to use monitoring, ticketing, and analytics tools (e.g., Splunk, ServiceNow) to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to support incident reporting, system health, and performance tracking.
- Familiarity with Alteryx Server administration and workflow-based analytics to support reporting and data needs.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to engineers, business users, and support teams.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across infrastructure, security, cloud, development, and vendor teams to resolve production issues.
- Ability to manage priorities in a Level 2 production support environment while meeting SLA commitments.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining current technical and professional knowledge in automation, systems administration, and analytics technologies.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build productive internal and external relationships.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and work non-standard hours, including nights or weekends, as required.
