Automation & Software Engineer (nyoprettet stilling)

About the role

As the first employee in this role, you will play a central role in establishing and further developing our collective software setup. Your responsibilities include:

• Ny- and videre development of SCADA systems and PLC software for process plants and machine lines
• Design and maintenance of standard software modules and architecture
• Implementation of customer-specific solutions based on standard platforms
• Integration between PLC, SCADA, and potential cloud solutions
• Testing and commissioning at test centers and with customers
• Error detection and optimization of existing installations
• Creation of technical documentation and program structure
• Tech support for projects, service, and customers

Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development of help software, including tools for sales calculations and solution configurations that support both sales and project execution.

Requirements

• A relevant education in Software and PLC programming
• At least 5 years of practical experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley
• Experience with:
• SCADA systems
• Communication protocols and integration
• Testing and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of ladder logic and structured programming

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Danish
• An organized approach to work, focusing on ensuring high-quality documentation and code
