About the role
As an Automation Engineer at ESCO Group, you will be a contributing technical resource for client projects, working alongside a highly technical and multi-disciplined team. This role involves assisting with the design and implementation of industrial automation projects to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, program, and configuration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interface (HMI) systems to control and monitor industrial processes.
- Perform modifications on existing display objects and templates.
- Learn and understand the flow of industrial processes.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to understand client industrial processes and automation requirements.
- Perform necessary modifications on existing programs and identify potential conflicts for resolution.
- Perform delegated work onsite at the direction of the Project Manager or Project Lead.
- Travel to client sites to implement, test, and commission automation systems.
