We're seeking a passionate and skilled Automation Engineer to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Basic design, fabrication, and grooming of automated control systems, sensing systems, and production equipment.
• Wiring of electronic control systems, mechanical assembly, and debugging of new equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support existing automated equipment, addressing both electrical/electronic and mechanical issues.
• Develop documentation for existing and newly developed automation systems, including electrical schematics, basic mechanical drawings, and operations manuals.
• Train floor personnel on the operation of equipment.
• Machine simple parts, brackets, etc.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree in Engineering required.
• Working knowledge or practical experience with electromechanical systems.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their programming.
• Computer literate.
• Detail-oriented.
• Basic experience with test, measurement, and analytical equipment.
• Experience in machine assembly, including mechanical assembly, electronic wiring, signal debugging/tracing, and mechanical alignment.
• Machining experience a plus; experience with milling and lathe machines.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

This position is located at our Fairfield, NJ facility.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. The final salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal consistency.
