Automation Engineer

About the role

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems to improve efficiency and reduce errors in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation solutions using PLCs, SCADA systems, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and IT to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
• Perform system testing and debugging to ensure reliability and performance.
• Document project specifications, designs, and procedures for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
• Experience with industrial automation tools and software such as Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation, and Siemens.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical principles and circuit design.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
