Job Details

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing new control systems and strategies to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Implement and modify Human Machine Interface (HMI), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and robotic logic.
• Testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems to optimize operations.
• Update and maintain documentation for electrical schematics and operational instructions.
• Collaborating with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff.
• Explore advancements in Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, and smart manufacturing for better automation and connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a Controls Engineering role supporting manufacturing.
• Expertise in Ladder Logic and Allen Bradley PLCs; GuardLogix experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in robotic systems.
• Strong electrical and electronic system troubleshooting capabilities.
• Preferrred proficiency with tools including PanelBuilder, RSView 32, FT View, VisionWare, MotionWare, RSLogix (5, 500, 5000), Studio 5000, Ignition, Fanuc RoboGuide, Cognex Vision Tools, Keyence Vision Tools, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with 480V electrical power is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
