About the Role
- Serve as the site expert for maintaining critical automation systems that ensure operational continuity.
- Maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks.
- Monitor key performance indicators for material handling equipment (MHE) and collaborate with teams to address system performance issues.
- Provide first-level escalation support to site technicians, both locally and remotely.
- Analyze building system performance to identify opportunities for enhancing material handling systems.
- Work with state-of-the-art technology including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC programming or automation engineering.
- Experience in troubleshooting process or production environment related PLC-controlled automation.
- Experience with robotics work cells and control systems.
- Knowledge of electrical theory, robotics, controls components, and automated equipment.
- Proficiency in Ladder Logic and structured programming for PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Codesys).
