Automation Engineer

Pay Rate: $31/hr DOE

Hours: Monday – Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Hybrid Automation Engineer for our client’s dynamic and growing team! This full-time opportunity comes with amazing benefits that include PTO, Vision, Dental, and Medical.

Responsibilities

• Verifying software product quality by running regression tests, debugging issues, and filing defects.
• Working closely with software developers on new product features by developing and executing tests, including verification, and writing test cases.
• Developing automation software, tools, and frameworks using C++ or C#
• Monitoring, debugging, and rooting cause failures in test automation

Requirements

• Must have strong validation mindset
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following: C++ or C#
• Ability to handle multiple initiatives and tasks simultaneously and switch between them quickly to meet prioritized business needs
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and validating software in Windows OS
• Experience in Linux, Chrome, and/or Android OS
• Experience in validating and debugging software/drivers
• Experience developing either Windows or OS agnostic test automation
• Experience with Continuous Integration practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Scripting skills (such as Python or Powershell)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have the ability to work solo and in teams
