Automation Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must include only sections that have real specific content. We need to parse the job description.
We need to extract:
- About the role: The first paragraphs describing who you will work with and how you will make a difference. Could be "About the role" or "Job Description". The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have About the role.
- Responsibilities: There's a "Responsibilities" heading later in the text: "Responsibilities Support automation projects from concept through production launch." Also earlier there is "Responsibilities include evaluating automation opportunities..." So we can combine.
- Requirements: The "What do we want to know about you?" section includes degree, years experience, hands-on experience, ability to design, experience with simulation, strong understanding, effective project execution, ability to travel. That's requirements.
- Qualifications: There's a "Preferred Qualifications" section. Could be Qualifications (maybe separate from Requirements). The instruction says we can have Qualifications section. We'll include both required and preferred? Usually Requirements = required qualifications; Qualifications = preferred. We'll put required under Requirements, preferred under Qualifications.
- Skills: Could be extracted from responsibilities and qualifications? Might be redundant. But we can create a Skills section summarizing technical skills: robotics, simulation, CAD, vision, PLC, etc. However we must not invent or summarize away detail; we must preserve all substantive information. If we create a Skills section, we need to include content that is present in the posting. The posting includes many skill-like items: "Hands-on experience applying industrial robots and automation equipment", "Ability to design automation concepts, cell layouts, tooling approaches, and equipment interfaces", "Experience with robot or manufacturing simulation, offline programming, or digital manufacturing tools", "Strong understanding of machine safety, controls, integration, manufacturing processes, and production readiness", "Effective project execution, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills", plus preferred qualifications list many specific skills. We could put those under Skills.
- Benefits: The posting mentions "More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include annual bonus, if eligible." So we have benefits info. We'll include Benefits section.
- Pay: The posting includes salary rate: "$68900-98200". Also mentions base pay range subject to change. So we have Pay section.
- Schedule: Not mentioned. No schedule info. So we should not include Schedule.
- Also maybe "Additional Information" includes job titles may span more than one career level, salary info, benefits link. Already covered.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, accommodation, etc. Remove those.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Not include Job ID.
We must output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
We'll structure:
About the role
About the role
... combined paragraphs about who you will work with and how you will make a difference.
Responsibilities
- ... list items from responsibilities.
- ...
Qualifications
(or maybe "Preferred Qualifications"). Skills section: Could combine many of the technical skills from responsibilities and qualifications. But we must not invent or summarize away detail. If we create Skills, we need to ensure content is present. The posting includes many skill items; we could list them as a Skills section. However we already have Responsibilities and Qualifications covering them. Adding Skills might duplicate content but still preserve info. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe we should not add Skills if we already have Responsibilities and Qualifications covering the skills. But we could still include Skills if we think it's substantive and not thin. However we already have Responsibilities (list of duties) and Qualifications (preferred). The required qualifications are also skills. Might be okay to have Skills section that merges required and preferred technical skills. But to avoid many thin sections, we could combine required and preferred into Qualifications and keep Responsibilities separate. Then we might not need Skills. But the instruction says we can use sections like Skills. It's optional. We'll decide to include Skills only if we have distinct skill-based content not captured elsewhere. Since we have Responsibilities (duties) and Qualifications (preferred) and Requirements (required), we might not need Skills. However the required qualifications include skills like ability to design, experience with simulation, understanding of safety, etc. Those are more like qualifications. So we can keep Requirements and Qualifications. Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay. Check if we have any content for Benefits and Pay. Benefits: "More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include annual bonus, if eligible." We'll put that in. Pay: "The salary rate for this role is currently $68900-98200. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future." We'll put that in
. Now we need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like EEO, accommodation, culture, etc. Remove those paragraphs. Now produce HTML. We'll need to escape any special characters? Not needed. We'll output:
About the role
