About the role
Complete Solution Robotics, an RMH Systems company, is seeking a motivated Automation Controls Engineer. This role requires some travel, typically 25%-50%, and is based in Loveland, CO. The position involves all aspects of control systems engineering, information systems development, and commissioning robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and implementation of control systems, system integration, and implementation for equipment and processes.
- All aspects of control system execution, including debugging, troubleshooting, network design, software development (PLC and/or PC related systems), and system commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and debug control systems, hardware, electrical, and programs.
- Follow company standards and develop projects based on internal and customer standards.
- Supervise system installs and provide customer support.
- Show advanced troubleshooting skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related Engineering field, or a technical degree in Robotics and/or Automation.
- 3-5 years of professional experience, with a solid understanding of basic controls engineering, PLC programming, and industrial robotics fundamentals.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with PLC/HMI platforms using ladder, structured text.
- Working knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI platforms Studio 5000 RS5000 RS5001.
- Experience with FANUC Robots.
- Experience with Keyence Cameras.
- Experience with AC/DC Drives and motion.
- Experience with networking: E/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, etc.
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Skills
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in PLC/HMI platforms.
- Experience with FANUC Robots.
- Experience with Keyence Cameras.
- Experience with AC/DC Drives and motion.
- Networking experience with E/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, etc.

$70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
