Automation Controls Engineer

Job Description We are looking for a Controls engineer who will be responsible for fulfilling project assignments, individually or as part of a project team. Assignments may include involvement in multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Include Provide engineering detail to and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings.Develop technical documentation and specifications.Write PLC and HMI application software.Configure AC / DC drive equipment.Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing.Coordinate with project management, technical leads, and/or end customers to commission systems. Must Have Program PLCs from scratch (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE) 3+ Years relevant experience Ability to configure AC / DC drive equipment Heavy Industrial Automation Experience required Ability to develop controls systems test plans, and test, troubleshoot, and commission systems Willingness to travel 40% Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Willoughby, OH. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $50.48/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
