7-month training position at corporate global headquarters in Korea. Candidates will meet corporate management, expand career knowledge, and be paid to learn on-site. Open only to US Green Card holders and US citizens. All positions include paid salary in US dollars, housing, meals, full health benefits, and fully paid VISA and travel expenses.

About the role

Responsible for the design, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation and control systems used in manufacturing equipment. Ensures stable operation of PLC-controlled systems, robotics, sensors, and Smart Factory infrastructure to maximize equipment uptime, production efficiency, and product quality. Korean speaking skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based control systems for production equipment.
  • Modify and debug PLC programs.
  • Support integration and operation of sensors, actuators, HMIs, and control devices.
  • Assist in installation, setup, and commissioning of automated production equipment.
  • Analyze automation system failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Improve equipment stability, cycle time, and system reliability.
  • Support OEE improvement through automation and control system optimization.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and system upgrades.
  • Support Smart Factory initiatives and digital manufacturing systems.
  • Assist with MES integration, data collection, and system connectivity.
  • Support real-time production monitoring and automation data flow.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers, Production, and Quality teams.
  • Support troubleshooting of production issues related to control systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external automation suppliers when required.
  • Ensure all electrical and control systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Identify and eliminate risks related to automation systems.
  • Support safe operation of automated production equipment.

Requirements

  • Basic to intermediate experience with PLC systems and control logic.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings (CAD), and wiring diagrams.
  • Understanding of sensors, actuators, and industrial automation systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support production needs.

Qualifications

  • Associate or BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 3+ years (preferred) in PLC programming or automation engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC systems.
  • Experience in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with Smart Factory or MES systems.
  • Strong background in equipment troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Ability to support commissioning and startup of automated production lines.
  • CAD (2D/3D) proficiency.

Pay

Annual salary range: $75,000 – $90,000 USD.
