About the Opportunity
This role is designed to enhance software quality through the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks. The Automated QA Engineer (Playwright) ensures high standards of software reliability by collaborating with developers and clients, influencing testing practices, and integrating modern automation techniques including AI to improve efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Develop end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites for web applications.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and clients to uphold software quality.
- Identify and document defects, assisting in their resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks.
- Participate in feature planning, technical discussions, and code reviews from a QA perspective.
- Establish and promote QA standards across projects.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance testing productivity and quality.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test execution.
Requirements
- Proficient with Playwright and experience building automated test frameworks.
- Knowledge of testing modern web applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation strategies.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Effective problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills for independent work and collaboration.
- Self-motivated with a focus on delivering quality software.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
Pay
Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000+, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
