Automated Material Handling Consultant

About the role

The Automated Material Handling Consultant serves as a trusted advisor for Customers, Sales, and Execution teams, helping customers optimize their supply chain automation systems. This position works with both new and existing systems, evaluating all aspects that affect system performance including equipment, software, and operations.

What You Will Do

• Understand the full functionality of world-class warehouse and distribution center automation
• Analyze and evaluate new and existing systems and processes, identifying value-added and non-value-added activities to solve design challenges
• Conceive, compare, recommend, and present innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives
• Evaluate and explore new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as an input to performance metrics
• Work with a cross-functional team of engineers from several technical disciplines to deliver innovative solutions
• Review simulation scenarios to ensure deliverability of the design/scope/solution with a "real world" view of operational challenges
• Lead consultancy projects with customers to create a vision for the future of their operations
• Utilize principles of mathematics, science, and engineering to streamline processes
• Apply proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study, and process balancing

Pay

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $65,000 - $140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation is determined by factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
