Automated Forklift Handler

About the role

This position will operate reach-truck forklifts to test our robotic forklifts and help improve reliability and the operator experience. You’ll operate forklifts both manually and by interacting with our state-of-the-art automation technology.

Responsibilities

• Unload, inspect and verify inbound shipments
• Stock all materials in appropriate warehouse locations
• Pick, pack and stage material orders
• Consolidate ordered materials and verify order accuracy
• Create shipping manifests and tickets and load delivery trucks
• Assemble and install test payloads
• Manage Third Wave’s autonomous forklifts via our software system
• Complete start-of-shift daily inspections
• Complete end-of-shift truck putaway
• Complete proper documentation of product issues during production, safety reports, etc.
• Operate autonomous forklifts in the distribution center
• Manage forklifts via software system

Requirements

• Current OSHA forklift operator certification for indoor forklift operation
• High School Diploma
• Experience with standard office productivity tools (Google Docs, Slack, etc.)
• Experience with warehouse software tools is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
