About the role

We are seeking an AutoCAD or Revit Tech to develop general design assistance to engineers and designers for architectural projects throughout North America using our new, groundbreaking software platform, AI for MEP®.
Responsibilities
- Design Superior Quality Plans: Your expertise and skills, coupled with our proprietary AI for MEP® software, will result in some of the highest-quality, most accurate plans seen in the industry while being completed in a fraction of the time of traditional design concepts.

- Career Development: You will have the opportunity to participate in meetings and conference calls when deemed necessary, coordinate with the client, the MEP/FP/IT design teams, and other consultants to ensure the design is consistent with the client’s vision, to identify and resolve areas of conflict, to ensure a fully coordinated interdisciplinary design, and to ensure the design schedule is maintained.
- Training and Development: You will become familiar with the codes that are applicable to the project, use AutoCAD, Revit, and other software to create construction document packages, develop and maintain company AutoCAD or Revit standards, protocols, and execution, modify architectural CAD/BIM files for use in MEP design drawings (clean-up, audit reference, troubleshoot), assist design teams with preparation of response letters, prepare projects for client submissions, provide mentoring and guidance for colleagues.

Qualifications
- To possess or be able to obtain an Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of two years of experience in AutoCAD or Revit.
- To have the ability to modify client CAD/BIM files for use in MEP design drawings.
- To have exceptional communication and organization skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask.
- To be able to work independently and efficiently upon receiving necessary direction and information.
- To thrive in fast-paced environments coupled with a desire to work efficiently.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, design teams, and other consultants.
- Experience with project management tools and coordination.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
